Holden Barlow is a Family Law firm founded in 1987 by the partnership between Michael Holden and John Barlow. Today, Holden Barlow’s team comprises of six practising Barristers & Solicitors and an Office Manager, specialising in all aspects of Family Law.
The law firm of Holden Barlow was founded in 1987 as a partnership between Michael Holden and John Barlow becoming the first ’boutique’ Family Law firm in Perth.
In 1988 John Barlow was appointed as a Judge of the District
Court of Western Australia.
Upon John Barlow’s appointment as a Judge of the District Court of Western Australia, Nan Jenour succeeded him as a partner of the firm.
In 1991, Michael Holden was appointed a Judge of the Family
Court of Western Australia.
In 1996, His Honour, Michael Holden, was appointed the Chief Judge of the Family Court of Western Australia.
His Honour, John Barlow, was subsequently appointed a
Judge of the Family Court of Western Australia.
His Honour, John Barlow retires from service as a Judge of the Family Court of Western Australia.
His Honour, Michael Holden served as Chief Judge of the Family
Court of Western Australia until 8 February 2007.
Nan Jenour continued to operate the firm in the tradition of the founding partners until her retirement in June 2007.
In contemplation of Nan Jenour’s retirement, Holden Barlow
was incorporated by the returning Justin Dorney, who had been
working in a top tier firm in the United Kingdom until then.
Justin Dorney has brought significant skills and expertise to
all areas of the firm since assuming directorship of Holden Barlow.
Today, Holden Barlow’s team comprises of six practising Barristers & Solicitors and an Office Manager, specialising in all aspects of Family Law.
